Sullivan, Bruyette, Speros & Blayney, LLC (SBSB) has a current opening for a Human Resources Director to join our Wealth Advisory Practice in McLean, VA.  This position works collaboratively with the firm’s operations team to manage all aspects of Human Resources.

Key Human Resources Director Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain HR policies
  • Develop and manage performance review program
  • Develop and manage corporate wellness program
  • Develop and manage employee lifecycle process
    • Recruiting and hiring
    • Onboarding
    • Active employment
    • Off-boarding     
  • Manage employee benefits program
  • Other areas as assigned
Key Human Resources Director Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related degree.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in human resources.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR principles. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State HR-related laws and regulations (e.g. FMLA, COBRA, ADA, OSHA, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, benefit laws & practices.
  • Ability to work discreetly and sensitively with confidential information and situations.
  • Computer proficient with experience working with HRIS, time and attendance, performance management and document management databases.
  • Analytical and critical-thinking skills necessary to identify and analyze personnel and workflow issues and inquiries and to recommend and implement solutions.
  • Extraordinary diplomacy and capacity to manage highly confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
