Sullivan, Bruyette, Speros & Blayney, LLC (SBSB) has a current opening for an Operations Specialist - Company Operations to join our Wealth Advisory Practice in McLean, VA.  This position provides operational and administrative support to the firm, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and Controller.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Accounting Clerk/Corporate Finance
●    Accounts Payable: Receive and process vendor invoices to ensure timely payments. 
●    Accounts Receivable: Produce and mail client invoices and deposit received payments.
●    Respond to vendor billing inquiries.
●    Respond to client billing inquiries.

Company Operations
●    Complete operations calendar assignments.
●    Prepare corporate meeting packages: BOD, Management Meetings, etc.
●    Support daily office operations duties: maintenance requests, on-site storage and document destruction.
●    Serve as backup for Operations Specialist - Office Management.
●    Coordinate with Operations Manager on Company Operations projects.

Human Resources
●    Recruiting: post jobs, schedule interviews, and follow-up with candidates.
●    Maintain current versions of job descriptions and organizational chart.
●    Assist with employee payroll entries.
●    Process employee time-off requests and provide periodic time-off reports.
●    Coordinate new employee setup, training and orientation program.

Corporate Compliance
●    Complete centralized agreements and New Client Account Records review.
●    Assist with documents review and distributions (e.g. ADV, Privacy Policy, Agreements).
●    Assist with annual Custody Audit.
●    Assist in completing and submitting required risk assessment reports.
●    Assist with emergency and business continuity plans.

General Administrative Support
●    Complete Expense Reports.
●    Assist with travel reservations.
●    Coordinate meetings scheduling and calendar management.
Key Operations Specialist Requirements:
●   Bachelor's Degree required; major in Accounting or Business preferred.
●   Strong computer software, organizational and administrative skills required.
●   Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
●   Ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities to meet tight deadlines.
